In the next two years (2023, 2024), North America will witness two solar eclipses. Some parts of the US (see map below) will witness an Annular Solar Eclipse (14th October 2023) and a Total Solar Eclipse (8th April 2024).
Kirksville and most of Missouri will witness PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSES on both these occasions.
